Welcome to Room 6's Blog...

We are one of the Year 3 & 4 classes at Russley School. We aim to work together well so that we can achieve success in everything we do. To help us be successful students we use the Russley Dispositions. They help us to train our brains to think successfully when we are faced with problems where the answer is not immediately known. On our Blog you will find photos, videos, up-coming events, notices and a range of other exciting information that we would love to share with you!

Hello Everyone

What a busy last few weeks it has been - inside and outside of the classroom. We've started our new mathematics unit, Measurement and we will be continuing this next Term as there's so much happening! The students have written some fab-tastic narratives over the last few weeks. We'll be sharing these on our Blog once everyone has finished publishing.

On another note, It is great to see how 'animated' the teaching profession and general public is over the Government's plans, and I remain hopeful that common sense will prevail. In the meantime, I hope that every student enjoys a well earned rest. I am looking forward to camp, plays, reciprocal reading, cricket, athletics and a whole lot of other fun learning activities in Term 4!

On Monday, the school Talent Quest took place. Keziah placed 3rd in the Senior Competition - a massive effort. Keziah sang, unaccompanied, 'Ordinary People' by John Legend. It was an absolutely incredible performance! Also, congratulations to Finn, Anna and Katie for making the Talent Quest Final. They performed John Lennon's song 'Imagine'. I truly stirring rendition of one of my all time favourite songs.

Today for our Big Day Out, the syndicate went bowling! Check out the cool videos and photos!

I love bowling!
