Welcome to Room 6's Blog...

We are one of the Year 3 & 4 classes at Russley School. We aim to work together well so that we can achieve success in everything we do. To help us be successful students we use the Russley Dispositions. They help us to train our brains to think successfully when we are faced with problems where the answer is not immediately known. On our Blog you will find photos, videos, up-coming events, notices and a range of other exciting information that we would love to share with you!



The Golden Pencil

The golden pencil is a competition that I will be running in Room 11 throughout the year. Each student in Room 11 has around three weeks to create a piece of writing in their own time - the main purpose of which is to entertain others. 

 This writing can be a simple narrative, a recount, an explanation or even a poem. Three of the best entries are then picked out by Mr. Ish and are read by the writers to the class. The class then votes on the ultimate winner for that round, they receive a prize and their writing is then published right here for everyone to read.

    Mr Isherwood

    Mr Isherwood is really kind
    He always has great things on things on his mind
    Mr Ish has a really cute son
    He's always thinking up games that are fun
    Mr Ish is never seen without a smile on his face
    He is forever keen and ready to race
    Mr Ish looks smart when he rubs his chin
    If you haven't already then you should definitely meet him.
