Things have been ticking along nicely. Short weeks tend to be busy, so much to do in so little time! For writing, we are continuing with aiming to be creative writers. We read Sarah Perry's cool book, 'If…', then had a go at creating our own…have a listen:
Next week the class are practicing reading poetry (& at home) for reading and presenting to the class. This ties in with the fluency reading we are learning in reading this term. I continue to be blown away by the ideas that are coming out in the poetry the class is writing. Room 11 are bubbling, bubbling, bubbling with ideas in their poetry. There are similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia and even some personification being used.
